One ticket. One entry.

When a thousand people arrive in twenty minutes, the gate is where an event succeeds or fails. GateXpress reads the QR code on each ticket at the turnstile, decides in a fraction of a second whether it is valid, and opens the gate, so queues move and nobody gets in twice.

It runs on a small computer at the venue, so the lanes keep validating even if the internet drops. Ticket lists are imported from the organiser's export, every scan is recorded, and the organiser watches headcount and alerts live on one dashboard.

What it does for you.

Every ticket admits once

The first valid scan uses up the ticket. A screenshot passed back over the fence is refused at the next lane and logged.

Works without internet

Every decision is made on a computer inside the venue. If the connection drops mid-event, the lanes keep working and sync when it returns.

Fast at the gate

In load testing across 21 lanes and 5,000 tickets, the engine decided 99% of scans in under a millisecond. The turnstile is the slow part, not the software.

Group tickets handled

One QR can admit a whole booking, so two guests on one ticket walk through together without a second scan.

Live headcount and alerts

The organiser sees who is inside, lane by lane, with an alert before a hall reaches capacity.

Nothing lost on a restart

Each admission is written to disk as it happens, so a power cut or restart never lets a used ticket back in.

Why it runs at the venue

Ticket checking that depends on the cloud fails exactly when it matters: a hall full of phones saturates the network at the moment the doors open. GateXpress makes every decision on a computer inside the building, so the gate never waits on the internet. The cloud handles importing tickets beforehand and reporting afterwards.

Questions, answered.

Which ticketing platforms does it work with?

GateXpress validates the QR value itself, so it works with any platform whose attendee export includes that value. We have verified District tickets. For other platforms we confirm the export format with the organiser before the event.

What if someone shares a screenshot of their ticket?

The first scan admits them and uses up the ticket. Any later scan of the same code is refused and logged with the time and lane of the original entry.

Do we need special turnstiles?

No. GateXpress drives standard turnstiles through their relay or control input, and works with QR readers that output over serial or the network. We help choose readers that suit your lanes.

Is there a demo we can try?

Yes. The dashboard demo runs on simulated data, so you can see lanes, headcount and alerts working without any hardware.
